Sentinel users : opening of the RUS Service

The RUS Service (Resarch and User Support for Copernicus Core Product) opens to public Sentinel users on the 25th of September 2017.

The RUS Service is the “New Expert Service for Sentinel Users” funded by the European Commission, managed by the European Space Agency, and operated by CS SI and its partners.

The main objectives of the RUS Service are:

  • To promote the uptake of Copernicus data;
  • To support the scaling up of R&D activities with Copernicus data.

To fulfil these objectives, the RUS Service offers a free access to powerful ICT platforms for processing data and developing technical solutions customized to users’ needs. It also provides a dedicated helpdesk for assistance and the organisation of regular training sessions.
