OSO 2023 Data : a little more patience ahead

THEIA OSO : land cover data for mainland France

THEIA Land Cover product is produced each year by CESBIO and CNES. It provides a 24-class typology of land cover, downloadable by department for mainland France. Production begins in January and delivery is generally at the end of March.

The version corresponding to the 2023 data will not be delivered at the end of March 2024 as we had planned, and we would prefer to warn you in advance. Some of the ground truth data is not yet available to calibrate the learning model, so production will have to be postponed.

We hope, however, that this delay will not be too long, that it will not delay your own work, and that we will be able to give you a delivery date in a few weeks’ time.
